Hearts in Action
Hearts in Action is a community fundraising program benefiting Trinity Health Southeast Michigan. This initiative invites individuals, schools, businesses and organizations to host their own events or activities in support of our local hospitals and programs. These volunteer-driven fundraisers are a meaningful way to give back while raising awareness for compassionate care in our communities.
What Is Community Fundraising?
Community fundraising includes any event or activity organized independently by an individual, group, workplace, school, or organization, with proceeds benefiting our local Trinity Health hospitals and programs. These efforts, sometimes called peer-to-peer fundraising, allow you to engage your network and make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families in our communities.
Community fundraising can take many forms, including creative, personal, or community-based activities. Examples include:
- A dance-a-thon hosted by students
- A marathon team collecting pledges
- A company jeans day supporting a hospital program
