How to Apply

Application to the Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program may be made through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Our program accepts two fellows per academic year. For more information about the ERAS fellowship application process, please visit their website here.

Interviews for the 2025 – 2026 academic year will be conducted virtually to remain fair and equitable for all. If selected for an interview, you will receive detailed instructions to ensure a smooth and efficient interview process. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Three years of residency training at an ACGME-accredited institution (three years complete at the time of application or expected to be complete by June 30, 2024).
  • Passing scores on Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 of USMLE or COMLEX
  • Graduate of an AOA or LCME accredited medical school or ECFMG certified if foreign medical school graduate.
  • Must qualify for unrestricted Michigan Medical & Controlled Substance Licenses and federal DEA number.
