My Why! Tyler Burns, RN, Shares His Passion for Care

Tyler Burns, RN-EMTP, works in the Trinity Health Muskegon Emergency Room as a nurse and serves as a paramedic for EMS (Emergency Medical Services). Tyler shares why he chose to work for Trinity Health Michigan and how it fuels his passion to care for others. 

“I hold a unique role within Trinity Health, where I serve as a paramedic, providing care to patients in the community,” said Tyler. “I’m also an Emergency Room nurse, where I can further serve my community.”

Tyler began his career with Trinity Health Michigan in 2023. He has worked the day and evening shifts at Trinity Health Muskegon.

“In my experience, whether you work days or nights, the ER and the ambulance are both busy; no shift is ever the same,” said Tyler. “I love the challenges that come with each shift — day or night — and never knowing what to expect next.”
