Rajbir Pannu, MD PGY-5Chief ResidentDr. Pannu was born in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. He spent his early years living on a blueberry farm in the neighboring city of Langley. He received his medical degree from St. Martinus University. During his spare time, Dr. Pannu enjoys following advancements in agriculture, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family. Nicholas Mills, MD PGY-5Dr. Mills is originally from rural Middletown, California. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at The Master's University in Santa Clarita, California, and his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences. In his free time, Dr. Mills loves being outdoors, devouring his wife's best baking recipe, playing with his children, being involved at his church, and learning new songs on the guitar. Nick will be completing fellowship training in Neuroradiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. |

Serguei Medvedev, MD PGY-5Dr. Medvedev was raised in Toronto, Canada. He attended Ryerson University from where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. In his spare time, he likes to exercise and go for hikes. Serguei enjoys traveling and cooking foods from various ethnicities. Serguei will be completing fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging at University of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON, Canada. |

Huijuan Wang, MD PGY-5Dr. Huijuan Wang was born and raised in Beijing, China. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology in University of Science and Technology Beijing and earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, nature, spending time with family and friends, and teaching her purr babies fun tricks. He received his Master's in Physiology at the University of Michigan. He earned his medical degree at Campbell University in North Carolina. Outside the hospital, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and watching sports. |

Alexander Satei, MD PGY-4Dr. Satei was born in Windsor, Canada and raised in Toronto. He received his medical degree from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. In his free time, Alex enjoys playing chess, watching Spaghetti Westerns, taking care of his aquarium, and playing with his Yorkie. |

Tima Tawil, MD PGY-4Dr. Tawil was born in New Jersey and raised in Damascus, Syria. She received her undergraduate degree from the American University of Beirut and completed her medical degree at St. George's University of London Medical School. Outside of work. Tima loves baking and cake decorating, photography, interior design, traveling, and exploring restaurants with family and friends. |

Derrick Barr, DO PGY-3Dr. Barr was born in Ames, Iowa and raised in Minnesota. He received a biochemistry degree at the University of St. Thomas and his medical degree from Midwestern University CCOM. His interests outside of the hospital are outdoor activities, home improvement projects, knife-making, and cooking. |

Hani lssawi, MD PGY-3Dr. lssawi is from Flint, Michigan. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan-Flint, a one-year chaplaincy program in Dallas, Texas at Qalam Institute, and graduated from medical school at Windsor University School of Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys whipping up some good food in the kitchen and barbecuing, as well as spending time with his family, watching football, and working out. |

Odai El-Samawi, MD PGY-2Dr. El-Samawi was raised in Troy, Michigan. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and pursued a Master of Science in IT Management at Oakland University. After deciding to switch careers, he left corporate management and went on to earn his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. In his spare time Odai enjoys partaking in mixed martial arts, traveling, hiking, and indulging in ethnic cuisines. |

Daniel Parks, DO PGY-2Dr. Parks was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he completed his undergraduate and medical education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Northeastern State University and medical degree at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his preliminary year in Pediatrics. Most of his free time is spent with his wife and three daughters, but he also enjoys hiking, gardening, woodworking, and jiujitsu. |

She completed all of her education in-state, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at Michigan State, Master’s in Medical Sciences at Wayne State, and medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In her free time, she continues to pursue her equestrian goals, riding and training at her family's local horse farm. She also enjoys spending quality time cooking with her husband and adventuring with their two dogs. |
