Current Interests, Research, or Professional Interests
I joined Trinity Health Grand Rapids in March 2026 and currently serve as the Pharmacy Residency Program Director and Medication Use Coordinator. Prior to joining the Grand Rapids Team, I practiced as an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist for 13 years at Trinity Health, Muskegon. Collaboration, education and mentorship are the aspects of pharmacy practice that I highly value and were key factors in my transition to this role.
As Residency Program Director, I am passionate about helping pharmacy residents develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to become successful clinical pharmacists. In my role as Medication Use Coordinator, I work with interdisciplinary teams across the region to develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, medication-use standards and best practices that promote safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care. My professional interests include developing future healthcare practitioners, advancing pharmacy practice and strengthening regional collaboration.
I enjoy working with colleagues throughout West Michigan to leverage our collective expertise, align clinical practices, and continuously improve the care we provide to our communities.
Hobbies/Interests Outside of Work
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and daughters. As a family, we love taking advantage of the changing seasons through activities such as biking, hiking, golfing, skiing and hunting. We are also deeply involved in our church, where we serve in a variety of roles and enjoy the relationships and community that come through weekly programs, fellowship and local events.
