Share Your Voice
As a Patient and Family Advisor, you have many opportunities to participate, both virtually and in-person, to make a meaningful impact. Here are some ways you can get involved:
- Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC): Join a collaborative group of patients, families, and healthcare leaders working together to improve care quality, safety, and experience. Your insights help shape policies and programs that matter. Meetings are typically held monthly and at least quarterly, based on council needs, and generally last 1–2 hours. Minimum 2-year commitment is required unless otherwise stated.
- Committees: Contribute to short-term projects or ongoing teams, providing input that guides decisions and ensures care and services truly reflect patient and family needs. Meeting cadences are determined by specific committee.
- Electronic Feedback: Review and comment on materials—such as brochures, websites, and policies—remotely and at your convenience.
- Share Your Experience: Contribute your unique perspective in a one-time focus session or by sharing your personal healthcare story to inspire meaningful change.
