Hearts for Hope

A Community-Powered Fundraising Initiative

Hearts for Hope is a peer-to-peer fundraising program benefiting Saint Mary’s Foundation. This initiative invites individuals, schools, businesses and organizations to host their own events or activities in support of Trinity Health Grand Rapids and its programs. These volunteer-driven fundraisers are a meaningful way to give back while raising awareness for compassionate care in our community.

What is a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser?

A peer-to-peer fundraiser is any event or activity organized independently by a supporter, with proceeds benefiting Saint Mary’s Foundation. These fundraisers are a powerful way to engage your network and make a difference in the lives of patients and families.

Examples include:

  • A dance-a-thon supporting the Lacks Cancer Center
  • A marathon team collecting pledges for Hauenstein Neurosciences
  • A company jeans day raising funds for a specific program

  1. Register Your Fundraiser
    • Download the Fundraising Event Application (PDF, 150KB) below and complete the form. You will receive event approval/feedback from the Saint Mary’s Foundation team within 24 hours.
       
  2. Promote Your Event
    • Use our toolkit with tips, templates and graphics.
       
  3. Make an Impact
    • 100% of every dollar you raise supports programs that provide exceptional care for patients and families.

About Saint Mary's Foundation

Saint Mary’s Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Trinity Health Grand Rapids. Since inception, we’ve granted over $100 million to support programs like:

  • Lacks Cancer Center
  • Hauenstein Neurosciences
  • Kidney Transplant Program
  • Clinica Santa Maria

Plus research, nursing education, patient assistance, music therapy and healing arts.
