About
Dr. Stewart earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. He then completed his internal medicine residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Stewart also completed a cardiovascular fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center.
When asked about his philosophy of care, Dr. Stewart said:
"I like to practice a holistic approach with common medical sense. Quality of life through goal directed therapy and preventative medicine is key to successful patient care."
His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and preventative medicine. In his free time, Dr. Steward enjoys spending time with his family, watersports and boating.
