Are you planning a nurse-led scholarly project at Trinity Health Grand Rapids, Trinity Health Muskegon or an affiliate outpatient office? You’re in the right place!
Trinity Health Grand Rapids and Trinity Health Muskegon utilize the ACEMAPP clinical placement process for all graduate nursing student clinical experiences. Prior to initiating a graduate nursing scholarly project or seeking a clinical placement, students must first contact the Clinical Placement Coordinator to discuss placement requirements and obtain guidance on the ACEMAPP process using the links below:
If you are an employee and a nursing student, you will also need to abide by the instructions above.
All projects must be approved by the Nursing Scholarly Practice Council of the respective site (Muskegon/Grand Rapids) before implementation, followed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) if required.

Once you have the forms completed, please send them to: NSPC@trinity-health.org.
NSPC meets monthly.
- All materials need to be submitted no later than one week prior to the meeting to be considered for placement on the NSPC agenda.
- Submission does not guarantee that a project will be scheduled on the agenda.
- An invitation will be sent if the project is selected for the agenda.
- Presenters should prepare a 10-minute presentation and be available to respond to council questions and comments.
- For research projects, NPSC approval is required prior to submissions to the Trinity Health Institutional Review Board.
