Being the first visit I made another appointment..
Everything went great
During the pelvic exam, Dr. Bassett explained things as she was doing them and I felt respected.

De Bassett is thorough in my exam and explained instructions she gave me. She was kind and genuine in her care and understanding of my concerns and questions.

Dr Bassett and her office personnel do more to make their patients feel safe and welcome than any number of doctors I've ever seen. With chronic conditions it can be so hard to find a primary care doctor that keeps their eye on their patient as an individual with dignity while keeping in mind the many variables that can come with an individual's complicated health. I went in with vague ideas about what I needed and walked out with concrete solutions and a plan. I have often had to go out of my way to reduce any mentions of my profession as doctors can sometimes be dismissive of even a master's degree when I ask for . Dr Bassett was not only happy to not only explain the data and her thoughts but the impact it may have on my quality of life. I've never had a practitioner who took the twin pillars of patient care, competence and compassion, and put them together so effectively for such a positive first visit. I will reccomend her to anyone I know looking for a primary care doctor.
Dr. Bassett is CARINGLY personable, knowledgeable in her outreach and explanations and in giving helpful directives for going forward while making sure I knew she will always be available for me with any issues I may have.

Great Dr Bassett
Dr. Bassett is an extraordinary physician. She treated me with dignity and actually listened to me and made me feel seen and heard for the first time and 4 years. She needs to be recognized for extraordinary care for her patients. The last doctor I went to I was not listened to gaslit to the point where I felt like giving up. I have this women/my doctor Miranda Bassett to thank, for giving me hope again.

Dr. Bassett is awesome. One of her nurses was not very helpful.
When it was time for a procedure, there were a few extra staff who joined us in the room but did not introduce themselves, which made me feel uncomfortable. We also did not fully discuss my health history beforehand and how it related to the procedure's necessity. Overall, Dr. Bassett was very kind and patient with me.
