Dr. Oravitan attended medical school at the Medical University of Timisoara, Romania.  He completed his internship as well as a cardiology fellowship at the Medical University of Timisoara, Romania. Dr. Oravitan was also an attending physician and faculty in the department of cardiology at the District Hospital Timisoara, Romania. He then moved to the United States to complete a residency in internal medicine at the New York University Medical Centre in New York and a cardiology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Oravitan's training also includes an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago.
