Sheldon Holder, MD, PhD, and Kelly Holder, PhD, have been married for 25 years, and in August 2025 they decided to embark on a new adventure.
They moved from their home in Providence, Rhode Island to Grand Rapids, Michigan after each accepting positions at the Trinity Health Richard J. Lacks Cancer Center; Sheldon as a medical oncologist and Kelly as a clinical psychologist.
