This is the second or third time I have seen her. She seems to remember me, she is friendly, doesn't rush and listens.
Please just listen before assuming why the patient is in the room. Hearing patients goes a long way, even when systemic barriers within our healthcare system exist.
She was an hour late to my appointment. Her schedule needs to allow for more time for patients.
I didn't understand that I would not be receiving a physical as part of the appt and that I would have to schedule another appt. Not sure if that was a miss on my side or not - but having to come twice to be seen is inconvenient and the significantly delayed timing to be seen was frustrating. Also, it would be great if there was a waiting list of something for doctors who aren't currently accepting patients (and that the website would be kept up to date with this information).

Dr. Teleah Phillips is an outstanding physician. Her depth of knowledge, her ability to synthesize symptoms into understandable scenarios, her profound depth of kindness & respect for her patients, are the reasons I will keep coming back to her for as long as possible.
Dr. Teleah Phillips has many many abilities, among them the ability to be kind, not condescending, to her patients. She exudes respect for everything. Also she has the amazing ability to synthesize my symptoms into an understandable set of statements, including one or more possible solutions. I just had a urine test and even though most of it came out negative, Dr. Phillips decided to do one more culture, in case it was this rather uncommon infection. I just got back the results from this last test and it came through positive/abnormal. This was a great relief as now Dr. Phillips will prescribe an antibiotic for the discomforting symptoms and I will be getting some seriously needed relief very soon. And if this hadn't been caught, it's possible this could've accommodated a sepsis infection. And we all know how that can turn out. Dr. Phillips saved my life!
Dr. Phillips reads through my file and asks me pertinent questions regarding my life, etc. She is excellent at treating the whole person.

It's extremely rare I've interacted with a medical provider who listens to me and doesn't condescend in some way or another. Dr Phillips was recommended to me by another patient of hers and this is exactly why.

Dr Phillips is very personable, very positive, and extremely respectful. She explains *everything* and does so clearly - she does speak quickly which does not bother me at all but could possibly bug other people.

Dr. Phillips listened to me and took all of my concerns seriously. She explained her rationale behind any decision or diagnosis and assured me that we would try all avenues to figure things out. She was extremely aware of consent and comfort in regard to touching and any sensitive procedures. I never felt rushed during our appointment, and I genuinely felt like she cared for me and my well-being!
