I came into this appointment as a new patient hoping to establish care with her since I don’t have a PCP and from the time the provider saw me to the time I was checked out was less than 10 minutes. It was very rushed. I also came in with a concern about a lump on my breast and she did not do much to comfort or ease the anxiety that I was feeling.

Did not listen to anything I said, was very dismissive and made it very evident she did not care. I waited months to get an appointment just for her to cut me off and rush me out. The appointment was 5 minutes. I asked for help with a few things and she told me “I can’t do that today,” with no explanation. She had no knowledge on anything I asked and did not explain anything to me and was walking out the door while speaking to me. I am genuinely shocked that this woman is a doctor. She was horribly rude. I will never be visiting this office again.
Dr. Patel provided excellent quality care- she was kind, patient and understanding. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns and did not rush the visit at all. I highly recommend her!

I will give it some time with this new provider, but I wasn’t overly drawn to her in visit. I am hesitant to criticize a provider solely because I may not like her personality since I’m here for health care, not to make friends. However, I will be on alert during future visits to make sure my concerns are being listened & responded to. I will also be aware of whether this provider is going to be proactive on my behalf.
