About
Erica Schuurman graduated from Grand Valley State University with a
bachelors in biomedical science as well as a masters degree in physician
assistant studies. Her clinical interests lie within cardiology as her focus is
in congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease and cardiovascular
disease prevention and education.
"I believe in providing health care that embodies the entire person,
including their physical, mental and spiritual health. I am an advocate for
providing patients and their families with the education and tools to

Outside of work, Schuurman is a member of a local running club where she
actually met her husband. Together, they love to train for long distance
races. Schuurman also enjoys traveling and cooking.
