When the doctor left the room, I wasn't sure what to do. I thought our session was over, but not sure. In my previous practice, I was told to stay in the room and someone would come in to check me out. I wasn't sure if the doctor was coming back in or if I was supposed to find my way to the checkout area. It was my first visit.

I was the first appointment and it took the doctor 15 minutes to see me. I was sitting in the waiting room, as the doctor came into to work 5 minutes before 8 am when my appointment began. After the assistant took my blood pressure and a few other various things, she made it clear the doctor would be right in since I was the first appointment and waiting 15 minutes for the doctor was inconsiderate on her part.
She was great!
She was very thorough this time and didn't hurry. She covered all the areas in the wellness check. She still wasn't happy with my A1C, (although low, she didn't support my efforts but she also wasn't condescending). She was helpful with my medications when I had problems with the pharmacy and was right on top of my labs and made modifications right away. And she followed up with her NP giving me a call because I was sick from the shots and didn't check my messages right away.
I still feel bad again and will get a bill for it
