LUDINGTON, Mich. (July 21, 2025) – Trinity Health is set to open a new neurosurgery clinic this week in Ludington, the latest example of its commitment to expanding access to care for patients in its Northern Network, consisting of Oceana and Mason counties and the Whitehall area.
Trinity Health Medical Group will operate the clinic, offering patients the opportunity to see neurosurgeon Robert Lynagh, DO, on the fourth Friday of each month for consultation appointments. Dr. Lynagh is renowned for his work with patients along the lakeshore and has been recognized for his visionary leadership in bringing the Globus Excelsius™ minimally-invasive robotic technology for spine surgery to Trinity Health Muskegon.
The clinic will adopt a team approach to patient care, ensuring a personal commitment to patients’ well-being and providing the highest quality of care and service.
The new clinic continues Trinity Health’s mission to bring care closer to home for patients. “We’re committed to expanding access to care for all patient populations, not just those in our larger communities,” said John Foss, PA-C, MBA, senior vice president of operations for Trinity Health Muskegon, Shelby & Grand Haven. “Our lakeshore hospitals are the foundation of a vast network that connects our patients with highly specialized providers and care for whatever they need. By making these services and providers available to them, we hope to mitigate access barriers.”
Trinity Health opened kidney transplant clinics in Muskegon in June 2024 and Traverse City in May 2025. Trinity Health Michigan’s Northern Network also expanded several services in November 2024 to better serve Oceana and Mason counties, including pre- and post-natal care, breast health, and a new sleep clinic.
Trinity Health Medical Group, Neurosurgery – Ludington will start seeing patients on July 25th. It is located at 5656 W. US 10, Ludington, MI 49431.
Patients interested in a referral to see Dr. Lynagh in Ludington should speak to their primary care physician.
