Lung Cancer Awareness Open House, Showcasing Our Robotic Surgery Systems

Join us for an engaging and educational event featuring cutting-edge surgical technology and important health insights. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

Explore the da Vinci Surgical Robot and the MAKO Robot on display in the Lacks Cancer Center lobby. Interact with robot representatives and learn about the types of surgeries these technologies support. Assess your personal risk for lung cancer in recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Attend a special presentation on lung cancer and the Ion Robot by Dr. Eric Gieser, Pulmonologist with Trinity Health Medical Group, in the Lacks Conference Room.

This event is open to all and designed to inform, inspire, and promote awareness around robotic-assisted surgery and lung health.
