Our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers specialized group treatment for individuals experiencing both mental health challenges and substance use concerns. This program is designed for adults who need more structure and support than traditional outpatient therapy, while continuing to live at home and remain engaged in daily responsibilities.

Participants take part in a supportive, therapist-led group that combines skill building, guided discussion and education to address the connection between emotional health and substance use. Treatment is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–informed skills and Motivational Interviewing.

Group sessions focus on developing healthy coping strategies, managing mood and anxiety symptoms, identifying triggers, strengthening emotional regulation, and building relapse prevention skills. Clients are supported in increasing self-awareness, improving relationships and making meaningful, values-based changes in their lives.

This group provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals can connect with others facing similar challenges, gain practical tools for recovery and work toward lasting stability and wellness. Treatment also emphasizes transition planning and connection to ongoing outpatient care and community supports.
