About this event
This course aims to provide athletic trainers, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and physicians with updated knowledge from our experts pertaining to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of common sport-related and musculoskeletal injuries.Learning Objectives:
Recognize how athletic development is incorporated into sports medicine, rehabilitation, and sports-specialized programs, and applies to athletes of all ages across the lifespan. 2. Identify current trends and concepts in Sports Medicine and accurately diagnose and select appropriate interventions for youth athletes. 3. Implement strategies for collaboration among physicians, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, athletic trainers, strength and mental performance coaches and registered dietitians to effectively and efficiently coordinate a return-to-sport pathway for the athlete.
