Palliative & Supportive Care
Our program provides family-oriented medical care for life-limiting illnesses, such as advanced cancer, advanced heart failure or advanced neurological diseases, among other serious illnesses. Focusing on identifying and relieving pain and symptoms of a serious illness is the specialized role of this medical care. Our goal is to improve a patient’s quality of life by anticipating, preventing and relieving pain, symptoms and distress from diagnosis through treatment or at any stage of their illness, regardless of current treatment plans.

Who can Request a Palliative Care Consultation? The patient, a family member, caregiver or other health care professional can request a consult through their admitting physician or primary care doctor.

Special Instructions: Please include these providers in the "Our Providers" section. Samaha Hiba, MD, Joseph Dixon, MD, Donya Mayel, NP, Laurine Catalano, NP, and Meghan Cherry, MD - all accepting new patients. Amanda Chmielewski, CNP and Megan Patin, NP - inpatient only.
